May prescribe opioids and benzodiazepines to inpatients. Treatment will not be continued by this physician following discharge unless it had been initiated by him prior to November 14, 2017.

May prescribe opioids and benzodiazepines in the Emergency Department setting for emergent care only. These prescriptions are limited to a maximum dose/amount and are not intended for ongoing treatment.
